Chapter Twenty-Three - This is the End, My Friends . . .
[identity profile] queerasfray.livejournal.com
Title: Breath Stopping
Author: Me, Fray
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Brian/Justin
Era: Pink Posse Arc
Warning: Breath play
Summary: Justin comes home horny as all hell after his first taste of vigilantism.
Author's Note: This story is about breath play, which is the act of restricting breathing for erotic purposes. I am not promoting the act, which can be very dangerous (and even deadly) if not practiced safely and in the presence of someone you trust completely (hence Michael's freak-out when he found Brian practicing auto-erotic asphyxiation).

Pairing: Brian/Justin
Word Count: 4.8K
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: The title and summary say it all.
Summary: Brian teaches Justin about Babylon's backroom.
Notes: Brian claims to have taught Justin everything Justin knows. Alas, we are left to merely imagine the details. This is a story in the Everything He Knows collection of stand-alone stories. The gorgeous banner was made by [livejournal.com profile] urugwaj.

Chapter Twenty-One - Taking a Break

[identity profile] mm-maggie-maybe.livejournal.com
Title: The Canary in the Coal Mine
Author: Me, Fray
Pairing: Brian/Justin
Rating: Explicit
Canon Compliant? Yes
Era: S2-E17 The trip to Vermont
Status: Completed
Warnings: Canon Compliant
Summary:Justin is getting tired of his and Brian's "relationship." It seems that Brian is merely experimenting with the concept of love - and that he, Justin, has been unwillingly cast in the role of a canary in a coal mine to test Brian's ability to be part of a couple. Meanwhile Brian is struggling with the realization that buying Justin stuff like flowers and taking him on a trip to Vermont doesn't mean he's selling-out to the straight world. Will Brian figure it all out before Justin slips through his fingers?
Author's Note: The title is an allusion to caged canaries that miners would carry down into the mine tunnels with them. If dangerous gases such as methane or carbon monoxide leaked into the mine, the gases would kill the canary before killing the miners, thus providing a warning to exit the tunnels immediately.

My apologies! I feel a little bit behind with my posting on this site, but this will bring everything up to date.

Title:Letting Go
Author Me, [livejournal.com profile] frayach aka [livejournal.com profile] queerasfray
Seasons 1-5
Pairings: Brian/Lindsay, Lindsay/Melanie, Brian/Justin
Canon? Yes
Rating: R
Warnings: M/F Het - But only in the beginning and not too much, I swear!
Summary: It was love at first sight when Lindsay Peterson met Brian Kinney. She'd never desired a man like she did Brian. He was her life, and for awhile she believed it was the same for him. But Brian had secrets and truths he was running from. When those secrets and truths were revealed, Lindsay had to make a difficult choice. Would she cut Brian out of her life or would she continue to do everything she could to stay close to him? After all, maybe he'd change. Maybe he'd get everything out of his system. She knew he loved her deeply; maybe that love could turn into something more than just friendship. The only thing she had insure was that Brian never fall in love with someone, but, fortunately, "Brian Kinney" didn't do love. It was all about fucking, and as long as things remained that way, Lindsay could hold out hope - especially when they have a baby together. Then along comes Justin Taylor and with him the realization that she had to finally let Brian go . . . maybe even forever.
Author's Note: The desire to write this story stemmed from writing another story called Finding Home which is about the last few episodes of season five (and also becomes a brief post-5-13 story as well). You do NOT have to read it to understand this story. I quickly found that trying to make sense of Lindsay during that time is pretty much impossible. She seems torn in dozens of different directions and very confused about where her loyalties lie. She's very frustrating and can even be seen as one of the factors that break up Brian and Justin. But as I wrote, I found that I felt a lot of sympathy for her. I didn't want to demonize her, even though it's difficult. Her love and desire for Brian basically rules her life, which I understand. I can easily put myself in her shoes.

In my head-canon, Brian goes through a brief period of trying to be straight (or at least experimenting), and it's during this period that Lindsay meets him. It's actual canon that the two had some kind of relationship that included sex (see season one, pilot episode) although clearly that had ended a long time ago.

I would love to get your feedback - agreeing or disagreeing with my take on things, it doesn't matter. I'd be very interested to hearing people's thoughts. Lindsay is very hard to pin down.

The first chapter depicts Lindsay as very young and naive (not unlike another blond we meet later). Obviously she grows more sophisticated as time goes on.
